This statement applies to LinkModern’s public website and early access enquiries. It does not describe the full operation of short-link routing on the same domain.
- Collection
Page requests disclose an IP address, request path, browser headers, and timing to the host. Operational logs may contain those details. An email supplies your address, sender name, message, and any attachments.
No analytics code, advertising pixels, external media, or scripts that set cookies are included in these pages. There is no registration form on this website.
- Purpose
Correspondence is used to answer enquiries and discuss access. Request information supports delivery, fault investigation, and abuse prevention. We do not use enquiry details for sale to advertisers.
Where legal grounds are required, requested correspondence is processed in connection with that request; technical operations rely on legitimate interests in availability and protection. Additional consent will be sought when legally necessary.
- Access
People managing LinkModern enquiries, hosting providers, and email providers may handle the information needed for their roles. Disclosure can be required by law. Service infrastructure may be international; regulated transfers require the safeguards applicable to them.
- Retention
An enquiry is retained while it remains useful to the access discussion or required for a legal obligation or claim. It is removed when those reasons end. Infrastructure records may have separate, limited retention for their operational purpose.
- Control
Contact hello@linkmodern.com to request access, correction, removal, or an end to correspondence. Depending on jurisdiction, rights can include objection, restriction, portability, and a complaint to a supervisory body. Identity checks may precede action.
